Education and Training
Our Plastic Surgery Residency Program educational curriculum is protected time for residents and faculty, occurring on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings. In addition to the ASPS Education Network, our educational formats include journal club, case presentations, indications conference, morbidity and mortality conference, and regular interdisciplinary collaborative conferences with our surgical and medical colleagues.
In addition to weekly educational conferences, we host multiple "special events" annually related to residents' education, including a microsurgical course, regular cadaver dissections, a unique art course, and bi-annual volunteer trips to Ecuador.
