ACR Capitol Hill Day
UMass residents and faculty attended American College of Radiology's (ACR) Capitol Hill Day. They had the opportunity to meet with members of the legislature and discuss topics concerning radiology.
Society of Skeletal Radiology (SSR) Scholar
Janet Oluwoe MD, second-year Diagnostic Radiology resident, was selected as a Society of Skeletal Radiology (SSR) Scholar. Janet is just one of 12 residents selected for this competitive, merit-based scholarship sponsored by the SSR. Read more in RadNews.
Build A Bed Project Team
A resident/fellow/faculty team from Radiology participated in a Build a Bed project along with other teams from UMass Chan. The event was part of the Doctor's Day celebration week at UMass Chan. The "Supporting Sprouts: Build a Bed Volunteer Event" was held at UMass Chan Medical School. Learn more.
Diversity Summit Poster
Chief resident Matthew Mariyampillai, MD presented one of two posters from the department at the UMass Chan Diversity Summit in 2023. Communities Crushing Cancer
Just wanted to share a few photos and the accompanying flyer from the “Communities Crushing Cancer” event that took place yesterday at sites all across the state of Massachusetts. Our residents did a fantastic job here at the UMass campus, and had the best turn-out of any program in the state!!
