What is the problem/waste? Charts are not being checked and/or are going missing Why is it happening? There are too many people/places. Charts could be a breakdown in communication Idea: Norm and/or the front desk coverage will be the person to check the charts and bring them downstairs and sign them off. Must have 1st floor reception transfer calls to Anrea rather than being able to reach her directly Idea: Give Andrea (radiology registration) her own phone line for more efficient work flow. We do not get many, but are always unable to reach a tech Idea: Provide a "lead" person to carry a phone for urgent pedi fluoro cases. Deb set up her voicemail.
