Aly Abayazeed, MBChB
Aly is one of our fellows who will be graduating after a year long neuroradiology fellowship. He will return to his hometown of Louisville, KY where he will maintain a faculty position at the University of Louisville in the Emergency Radiology Department.
Katyucia De Macedo Rodrigues, MD
Katyucia is one of two MRI fellows graduating this June and we are elated that she will continue with us as our new interventional radiology fellow at UMass.
Gregory Federer, MD
Greg is our current vascular interventional radiology fellow. He will be with us until August, before he moves home to California where he will continue his job search.
Francesco Massari, MD, PhD
Francesco is one of the two interventional neuroradiology fellows to be graduating in June. His plan after graduation is to continue here at UMass as interventional neuroradiology/emergency radiology attending.
Joseph Roebuck, MD, PhD
Joe, one of our MRI fellows graduating will be staying in the Worcester area to pursue some local opportunities.
Eduardo Scortegagna, Jr., MD
Eduardo is graduating from our neuroradiology fellowship program and will then be changing programs to become our abdominal imaging fellow here at UMass.
Andrew Smith, MD
Andrew completed both his residency and his abdominal fellowship responsibilities here at UMass. Starting July 1st, he will be an abdominal imaging attending at UMass including coverage at the satellite community hospitals, Marlborough and Clinton.
Jade Watkins, MD
Jade completed her radiology residency here before she went on to join our breast imaging fellowship program. Jade will join us as a breast imaging attending here at UMass starting July 1st.
Graduating Residents:
Matthew Dattwyler, MD
Matthew will continue in his training as an Emergency Radiology Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Glenn Hoots, MD
Glen will be pursuing a Vascular Interventional Fellowship at Tampa General Hospital/University of South Florida after graduation.
Lacey McIntosh, DO, MPH
After graduating from the UMass Residency Program, Lacey will start at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute for a one-year Cancer Imaging Fellowship at Dana Farber/Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
J. Paul Nielsen, MD, MPH
Paul will be moving to Colorado to pursue an Adominal Imaging Fellowship at the University of Colorado Denver in Aurora, CO.
Kristina Nowitzki, MD, PhD
Christina will continue her training in a Cross-Sectional Imaging Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
