Safety and Security Do's and Don'ts on Campus

Due to a recent intruder throughout several buildings on the University Campus last month, we would like to remind everyone to be AWARE of your surroundings at all times. Never leave personal belongings unattended, and lock your doors, windows, and desk when stepping out of the room.

If you find a stranger in your office space or laboratory, it is most important to stay calm. Never approach or agitate an intruder. Try your best to identify key physical traits in order to call the police immediately with a thorough description. The persons height, weight, hair color, race, clothing, etc. are extremely helpful.
