What is the problem/waste? This idea came about since the outpatient discharge instruction forms being distributed to patients were copies rather than originals, therefore the quality was poor. Since the forms were going to be reprinted, we felt it would be beneficial to update current discharge instructions on the forms at the same time.

Idea: Introduce and welcome new radiologists to the department with coffee and snacks

What is the problem/waste? Door to the 4th floor does not stay open and is hard to get patients in the door via wheelchair if you are alone

Idea: Put a delay on the door so that it stay open long enough for wheelchairs to get through

What is the problem/waste? Too many labels are being printed for patients paperwork when screening mammograms. 6 are printed but only 2 or 3 are used.

Idea: Per exam code, labels will now be generated across all campuses accordingly. If additional labels are needed, they will be printed on demand.
