In the Spotlight: Ashley Zink, Administrative Support

 
Please join us in welcoming Ashley Zink to the Department. Ashley is replacing Linda Divris who retired in June. Ashley is no stranger to the UMass system as she previously worked for Central Mass Magnetic Imaging Center (CMMIC), as well as Shields for a combined 7 years as a Patient Care Representative.

Ashley says her job entails supporting 15 physicians, as well as, our Group Administrator, Randa Mowlood. Some of her duties will include credentialing, the organizing of conferences, ordering office supplies, and payroll for admins, per diems, and nurse practitioners. She is looking forward to getting to know all of the people within the department and learning the “ins and outs” of her responsibilities.

Ashley recently graduated from Worcester State University with a Sociology degree and says that she “loves school” and wants to re-enroll someday soon for her Masters. Now that she is no longer juggling work and going to school full-time, she has been enjoying her free time this summer hiking and camping.
