According to Neurointerventional Radiology Division Chief Ajit Puri, MD "this recent publication which is the first and largest series in the world of patients treated for minimally invasive endovascular Neurointerventional procedures from the artery of the hand (distal radial artery (snuffbox) is now published. This takes a minimally invasive access with a newer novel approach to new heights. Patients love it - a brain aneurysm fixed via the artery of the hand."

Global radiology training is on the rise, new study finds

An article on Nov. 19, 2019, in HealthImaging - Insights in Imaging & Informatics featured content from a research paper authored by Hana Haver, Max Rosen and Carolynn DeBenedectis. The article states "More residency programs are training students in global radiology than ever before, hoping to bring imaging to corners of the globe that have few such specialists."
