New Device to Treat Aneurysms
Radiology Physicians, Ajit Puri, MD, chief of the division of neuroimaging and intervention, and Francesco Massari, MD, PhD, neurointerventional radiology, are the first in New England to use a newly approved device to treat aneurysms. The device, called Comaneci, was used in a patient with an aneurysm rupture and intracranial bleeding. Both were interviewed on local Channel 3 television and featured in an article in the Worcester Business Journal.
