Dr. Aaron Harman Elected President NESIR
Aaron Harman, MD, President New England Society of Interventonal Radiology
We would like to announce that at the June 12th NESIR Board of Directors' meeting, Aaron Harman, MD, was elected as the 2019-20 NESIR President. Dr. Harman attained his medial education at the University of Massachusetts and completed his Diagnostic radiology training at Brown University. Afterwards, Dr. Harman competed his IR fellowship at the Brigham & Women's Hospital.
Dr. Harman is currently an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center. He also serves as the associate program director of the Interventional Radiology fellowship & integrated and independent residency programs. In addition to medical education, his clinical interests are in quality assurance in IR and interventional oncology. He also is a member of the SIR Economics Committee.
Dr. Harman and the NESIR Board of Directors look forward to reinvigorating the 2019-20 NESIR lecture series. We'll provide you an update in the coming weeks. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Harman in his new role as NESIR President. We look forward to seeing all of you at our first meeting this fall.
