Women in Radiology

The UMass Women in Radiology group had its first meeting Thursday Jan 31st.  The group was modeled after a women in radiology group at GE and inspired by the number of women in radiology groups that already exist at most major academic medical centers.  The goal of the group is to provide faculty development targeted to the specific needs of female radiologists.  In addition to the female specific faculty development the group will provide, the group intended to work with GE leadership to sponsor faculty wide faculty development session throughout the year with the first one taking place this fall.
