12 Year Old Boy and Dr. Puri Save Stroke Victim
A heroic twelve-year-old boy saved his grandfather who had a stroke while driving on the highway. After safely guiding the car to the side road the boy contacted 911. The grandfather was brought to University Campus of UMass Memorial Healthcare, where Dr. Ajit Puri performed a thrombectomy. Dr. Puri is Chief of the Division of Neurointerventional Radiology at UMMS. The grandfather is recovering very well.
