Body MRI Hands-On Workshop

The first session in our new “Body MRI Hands-On Workshop” series was held on Aug 24, 2016 at the University Campus, focusing on “Multi-Parametric MRI” of Prostate mpMRI. A didactic session on new PI-RADS classification was followed by hands-on practice and unknown cases. Fellows, junior and senior faculty attended the workshop. Khashayar Rafatzand, MD directed and proctored the course. Abdominal Imaging Fellow, Amina Saghir, MD, was instrumental in proper case selection, and assisted during the didactic portion of the course. The workshop will be held again in November, and has been approved for 2 hours of CME credits.

Future topics include “Renal MRI”, “MR Enterography”, “Liver MRI & LI-RADS” and “Quality Improvement in Body MRI”. Suggestions appreciated.
