Core Research Project

Healthy Kids & Families was the applied research project of the UMass Chan Prevention Research Center. It tested the impact of a community health worker-delivered intervention aimed at helping families overcome barriers to childhood obesity prevention. The intervention was compared to a comparison condition aimed at helping families improve positive parenting skills.
