Brief Bio

Firas Kassira, OD, graduated from George Mason University with a BS in biology and obtained his OD degree from the New England College of Optometry. He completed externships at the 34th General Army Hospital in Augsburg, Germany, and various health centers in Virginia and Massachusetts.

Since then, Dr. Kassira has been committed to patient eye care in Central Massachusetts for over 25 years. He’s enjoyed living, practicing and raising his family in Worcester, MA. Dr. Kassira joined the UMass Memorial eye team in 2020.
