Global Outreach

Several members of the faculty and staff from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology have been on a number of global outreach and missionary excursions over the years.  These trips were undertaken to bring care and assistance to many underserved or disaster stricken areas of the world.  Teaching healthcare providers in these regions has also been the goal of many trips.  Since the early 1990s, faculty and staff have travelled to Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Ghana, China, India, and many other areas.  Over the coming months we look forward to posting on this website, stories and photographic montages from those who have served our global neighbors.
