UMass Neurosurgery Cerebrovascular Program
The UMass Neurosurgery Cerebrovascular Program provides state-of-the-art care to patients with disorders affecting the blood vessels of the brain and spinal cord (i.e. the cerebrovascular system). Our cerebrovascular neurosurgeons and interventional neuroradiologists are trained to provide the most advanced treatment options available, including open craniotomy and microsurgery, as well as minimally invasive endovascular surgery. Open and endovascular surgery for carotid disease and spinal vascular disorders are also performed frequently. UMass neurosurgeons and interventional neuroradiologists work together to provide individualized care that is at the forefront of medicine.
