Alberto Brusati, postdoc associate in Landers LabAlberto Brusati, a postdoc associate in Lander’s Lab, has joined the Department of Neurology. Originally from Milan Italy, Brusati has been driven toward a career in genetics, driven by curiosity and a strong desire to help people affected by challenging diseases. His background includes working in genomics and bioinformatics, with prior experience conducting WGS, EWAS, GWAS, and other genetic studies to uncover risk factors and biomarkers for complex diseases.  

His current research focuses on identifying new genes that could explain some of the ALS missing heritability which could serve as future therapeutic targets.
