AM Barrett, MD
AM Barrett, MD, chair and professor of neurology, was awarded the appointment as UMass Memorial Chair in Neurology. Dr. Barrett joined UMass Chan Medical School and the VA Central Western Massachusetts Healthcare System in 2022. As a physician-scientist studying brain-behavior relationships, her research is based on both cognitive neurology, rehabilitation, and neuropsychology in studying spatial cognition, hidden disabilities, and deficit unawareness.

Dr. Barrett shared, “This is an amazing honor to be appointed by the University of Massachusetts Foundation as a UMass Memorial Health endowed chair.
