Vice Chair, Academic Affairs

Raphael Carandang, MD, associate professor, has been promoted to lead the neurology education team as Vice Chair of Academic Affairs. Dr. Carandang has served as a faculty member of our department for the past fourteen years. His mission is to support and advocate for, our clinical and research faculty on their scholarship, academic development, and career advancement in their various endeavors of education, research, and patient care. Dr. Carandang is honored to uphold the collegial and humanistic culture of UMass Chan Medical School and the Department of Neurology.
