Akanksha Gulati, MD, is completing her fourth year of residency in the Department of Neurology's residency program. Gulati, originally from India, completed her medical education at Indira Gandhi Medical College in Shimla, graduating at the top rank of her class. She is interested in vascular neurology focusing on stroke in the young, and global neurology.
Gulati’s time in neurology has been immensely rewarding for her. She shares, “I have been fortunate to receive a solid foundation that will undoubtedly pave the way for me to become an excellent neurologist in the future. The department has provided me with exceptional mentorship, allowing me to grow both personally and professionally.”
Akanksha Gulati, MD, will be pursuing a vascular neurology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
