Student and Resident Track
Student/Resident Track: This special opportunity is designed for medical students and residents interested in medical education. Through this track, you will have access to all regular conference programming (hyperlink to conference program when ready), and you will also have access to additional activities designed specifically for medical students and residents. These activities will allow you to:
- Learn more about research in medical education
- Discover academic career opportunities in medical education
- Begin networking with faculty involved in medical education
- Present your own original work in a supportive environment
Special Opportunities for Students and Residents*:
Through the student-resident track, participants will have access to special programs specifically designed for medical students and residents in addition to regular programming*:
- Student/resident only discussion with keynote speaker
- Workshops on how to prepare your poster/oral presentation for an academic meeting
- Workshop on “the resident as teacher”
- Session on negotiating generational differences
- Opportunity to judge posters at an academic conference
- Social events to network with other students, residents and faculty interested in a career in medical education
*activities are offered in addition to regular conference programming
