Knowledge exchange/consulting
We are happy to share our expertise when needed!
Collaborations with academia and/or industry
For AAV-based gene therapy: for gene transfer and gene silencing. Our lab’s expertise resides mainly in respiratory, metabolic and neuro applications.
Reagent exchange
This includes our Z-AAT specific antibody, this work was funded by the Alpha-1 Foundation and a quote can be provided upon request.
Sponsored research
In particular for any animal work that would involve our AAT liver model (high copy and low copy PiZ mice that express the human Z-AAT gene, C57BL/6 and Balb/C backgrounds) and our AAT lung model (quintuple knockout of all murine AAT genes, C57BL/6 background).
Spinout
We are looking for a partner to complete our initial funding and help us create a spinout to push forward the dual function vector for treatment of alpha-one antitrypsin deficiency. This could potentially concern other projects from our lab.
