Stephanie Priest and Elise Pyun Receive Mentored Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Award for Workforce Expansion from Rheumatology Research Foundation

Stephanie Priest, PA, of the Division of Rheumatology, will be mentored by Elise Pyun, MD, clinical chief and associate professor of medicine in the Division of Rheumatology, as part of the Mentored Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Award for Workforce Expansion from the Rheumatology Research Foundation. The award provides tailored training for nurse practitioners or physician assistants new to the field of rheumatology. Since the grant began in May, Stephanie has signed up for three distinct rheumatology courses in Colorado, Florida, and Washington, DC. Stephanie joined UMass this past January and is currently based at the Memorial and Leominster locations.
