Susan Fine, MD Susan was born and raised outside of Boston. After completing her undergraduate degree at Duke University, she returned home to attend UMass Chan Medical School. She completed her Med/Peds residency training at Brown University in 2009, and again returned to UMass, this time as faculty. Since her return, she has served as Assistant Program Director of our med/peds program. She also precepts residents and students in the Westborough Med/Peds clinic.

John McCahan, MD John was recruited to the University of Massachusetts after completing his Med/Peds residency at Baystate Medical Center. Seeking an opportunity to provide high quality patient care in an academic setting, he is now the medical director of the Med/Peds community practice in Westborough. He is a graduate of Cornell and the UMass Chan Medical School.

David Remis, MD A graduate of UMass Chan Medical School and Baystate's Med/Peds residency program, David is excited to be back and have the opportunity to work with the Med/Peds residents in the Westborough office. He graduated magna cum laude from Brandeis University with a degree in Philosophy and subsequently received his master's degree in History of Religion from the University of Virginia. A dedicated patient and resident advocate, Davidhas received the James F. Carlin Award for outstanding medical educator, the Student Body Committee Leadership Award, and the Outstanding Resident Award for Community Service.

Suzanne Sprague, MD Suzanne was born in New Hampshire and attended college at Princeton University, majoring in Near Eastern Studies and studying abroad in Turkey. She worked in New York City for a few years before returning to New England to enroll in Harvard University Extension School’s pre-medical Post-Baccalaureate program. She attended Tufts University School of Medicine before starting Med/Peds residency at UMass. She liked it so much that she decided to stay on, first as a pediatric chief resident and then as teaching faculty at the Westborough Internal Medicine and Pediatrics clinic.
