(Worcester Polytechnic Institute – 2017)

Our app assists perinatal care providers in the prevention, identification, and treatment of depression among pregnant and postpartum individuals. It also includes information about how to talk with patients about mental health. Available at the App store and on Google Play.



Lifeline for Moms Perinatal Mental Health Toolkit (full version)

The Lifeline for Moms Perinatal Mental Health Toolkit guides perinatal care providers in the prevention, identification, treatment, and monitoring of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. It provides actionable information, algorithms, and clinical pearls to help obstetric clinicians and practices successfully address perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. The toolkit includes an overview, patient screening tools, provider resources including sections on screening, assessment, treatment initiation, treatment monitoring and follow-up, risk assessment, and assessment and management of bipolar disorder and psychosis. The toolkit also includes resources for patients, including an action plan and self-care plan. Supplemental materials include a summary of perinatal mental health complications.

It also includes a summary of the impact and management of perinatal mental health and substance use disorders.


MCPAP for Moms Toolkit - Pediatric Provider

The MCPAP for Moms Toolkit for Pediatric Providers guides Massachusetts pediatric care providers in how to identify and address perinatal depression. The toolkit includes a depression screening algorithm and assessment tools.
