Marci Jones, MD - Tatnuck House Mentor
Dr. Jones grew up in Southern Vermont and completed her undergraduate education at the Johns Hopkins University where she majored in Humanistic Studies. She attended medical school at the University of Vermont, and remained at UVM for her orthopedic surgery residency. She went on to complete a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Washington.
She is Vice Chair of Education and Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Massachusetts. She also serves as the Director of the Hand Fellowship. Along with her educational roles, she maintains an active clinical practice in hand surgery, and has particular interests in distal radius fractures and wide-awake surgery.
Dr. Jones lives in Shrewsbury with her husband, son, and daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, eating out, and knitting.
