Jennifer Moodie, MD - Grafton Hill House Mentor

Dr. Moodie was born and raised in New Jersey, and completed her undergraduate studies at UMass Amherst.  She then attended medical school at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson, and subsequently completed an internal medicine and neurology residency at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University. Dr. Moodie then pursued a multiple sclerosis fellowship at Brigham and Women’s hospital prior to joining the faculty at the University of Massachusetts as an Assistant Professor in 2009.

Dr. Moodie’s roles involve mostly outpatient care as well as inpatient service, and she has broadened her role in education during the last few years, which has included regularly precepting resident clinics as well as experience giving various clinical case-based lectures as part of the medical school’s neuroanatomy course. She also prior served as the neurology clerkship co-director for third year medical students as well as a clinical skills course faculty co-leader for first year medical students. Dr. Moodie is now a Learning Communities mentor for medical students, which involves teaching and guiding medical students throughout their four years.

Dr. Moodie lives in Northborough, and enjoys time with her family in New Hampshire, as well as biking and hiking.
