Brightwood will be partnering with the CASA project of Worcester while maintaining our commitment to the Food Justice Fair in Springfield. The CASA project trains volunteers to advocate for children in the foster care system both in the courtroom and out for the duration of the court case. CASA has indicated they are in need of school supplies, personal care items, and gently used books of all languages and reading levels, so Brightwood will be organizing a back-to-school supplies drive in the fall. Brightwood also enjoyed another successful Food Justice Fair in Springfield this spring educating the clients of a local food pantry on the effects of nutrition and health.
