Rotation Positions

Rotation Positions are open for UMass Chan graduate students.

We use X-ray crystallography, electron cryo-microscopy (cryo-EM) and biochemical methods to elucidate structural mechanisms of translation and translation regulation.

Potential rotation projects are:

1) Cryo-EM of functional ribosome complexes

2) To understand translation regulation via biochemical approaches

3) To build and interpret molecular structures, and to study the structural dynamics of the ribosome and factors regulating translation
