What is BioRender?
BioRender is a web-based program that helps you create scientific figures up to 50x faster than traditional tools. The tool combines a library of over 20,000 scientifically accurate, expert-validated life science icons and templates with intuitive drag-and-drop functionality. Create publication-quality figures in minutes - no drawing skills required!
Many of you may already be using the FREE version of BioRender, or perhaps you are using a paid version and want to consider a move to the UMass Chan Site License. Here are the details on how you can take advantage of this opportunity now.
The current licenses cost $217 per user license/ per fiscal year. We recalculate costs each year based on demand and what UMass Chan is charged by BioRender. We've integrated Single Sign-On so all you need is your UMass Chan login credentials.
If you don’t want to pay for BioRender through the UMass Chan site license, you can revert back to the FREE version, but you would also revert back to the limitations imposed by that version. Or, you could consider purchasing a license on your own. Comparatively, the UMass Chan site license would still be cheaper than the Single User or Lab license packages and you’d get the full breadth of features & functionality through the site license.
Here are just some of those Features, all of which you can see in their pricing.
- Full access to all the features and functionality
- Full Access to 20,000+ icons among 30+ life science fields
- On-demand live customer support
- Request Custom icons and with a 6-10 day turnaround time
- Team / lab shared files and collaboration
- Unlimited file storage and file management
- Permission for educational use and publishing
- Monthly training webinar access
- Dedicated Technical support teams at Support@biorender.com
