Faculty Recruitment Toolkit

This toolkit serves as a comprehensive resource designed to streamline and enhance the process of hiring new faculty members to UMass Chan. The Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA), the Diversity and Inclusion Office (DIO) and the Office of Health Equity (OHE) aim to provide a standardized and efficient approach to faculty recruitment, offering guidelines, templates, and essential information to hiring departments. Included in this toolkit are documentation on recruitment procedures, job descriptions, interview protocols, and evaluation criteria. By centralizing these resources, the toolkit aims to ensure consistency, transparency, and fairness throughout the recruitment process. Additionally, incorporated are best practices and tips to attract diverse and qualified candidates, contributing to the overall improvement of the academic staff and the institution's academic excellence.
