Continuing Education Classes

As health care evolves and the nurse's role on the interprofessional patient care team increasingly becomes more critical, it is important for nurses to stay current with best practices and emerging research. UMass Chan Medical School's Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing, centrally located in Worcester, and the only graduate nursing school in MA affiliated with an academic health science center, provides the working nurse with a continuing education curriculum combining clinical expertise, contemporary research, and on-line/in-person learning flexibility. 

Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing Continuing Education (CE) Courses are provided to allow students (non-matriculated students) the opportunity to take a course to further their professional and/or academic goals. Courses are available for the traditional learner on campus and for the non-traditional learner who seeks opportunities for online learning.  A non-matriculated student is not considered to be registered in a degree program at the Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester and may not take a course as an audited course unless approved by the Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing.
