Welcome to The Office for Postdoctoral Scholars

UMass Chan Medical School is committed to excellence in all aspects of research, training, and education. There are approximately 270 postdoctoral scholars at UMass Chan representing all regions of the United States and the world. In recognition of the outstanding and essential contributions made by postdoctoral scholars at UMass Chan, the Office for Postdoctoral Scholars was established in June 2009 to serve as a resource for Postdoctoral Scholars, Postdoctoral Mentors, and the Institution in general. Our mission is to promote, support, and enhance postdoctoral training at UMass Chan. An important goal for this Office is to encourage active participation from postdoctoral scholars to develop and/or strengthen programs of interest, including professional development, education in responsible conduct of research, optimization of training environments, and exchange of research ideas.
