Financial Aid
Being able to pursue an advanced degree in nursing is a dream for many, and a costly one at that. Debt has been, and continues to be, a major concern of aspiring advanced nurse practitioners and educators. It is very often the reason that many talented students are unable to achieve their dreams.
Your gift to support Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing students today means we will have a brighter, healthier future. It will help stem the looming shortage of advanced nurse practitioners and educators.
Library Fund
Named for UMass Chan Medical School's founding dean, the Lamar Soutter Library (LSL) is a welcoming and vital space for all students, providing support for education and research. LSL subscribes to an extensive array of print and electronic journals, and offers a number of electronic indexes, abstracts and databases, including numerous rare books; a reserve collection supplements faculty lecture assignments and readings. It also serves as the National Library of Medicine’s New England Regional Medical Library, one of eight such regional libraries nationwide.
