We are an academic urban residency site emphasizing patient-centered full spectrum family medicine care, and learner-centered full spectrum family medicine residency education.

Our practice is a patient-centered medical home that employs the most up-to-date care strategies, making our learning environment extremely rich. Our philosophy is one of continuous quality improvement and we employ an electronic medical record, patient registry and innovative visit models to offer a full range of services to our patients.

The population we serve is diverse
Our patients are ethnically and socioeconomically diverse, matching the diversity of Worcester. We provide full service reproductive options and family centered maternity care.  We care for infants, children, adults, and elders in the community, in nursing homes, and in their home. We also provide medical coverage to college students at three major Worcester colleges.

We are committed to our learners and to education. We offer a wide range of learning experiences and opportunities to explore individualized experiences in-depth through the development of educational plans to meet personal and professional goals of our residents.  We help our residents become well-rounded family physicians while achieving excellence through an active academic coaching strategy.
