- Participate in the delivery of outpatient primary care to adults, pregnant women, and children longitudinally through a family medicine-based model at one of three residency health centers.
- Learn from the didactic noontime conferences and end of day "chart rounds" - a roundtable discussion of interesting patients and clinical questions selected from the day's activities.
- Observe and perform outpatient procedures such as pap smears, skin biopsies, endometrial biopsies, colposcopies, vasectomies, and more.
- Take advantage of community-based activities including outreach clinics, school health programs, nursing home and home visits.
