more
about the work we are doing with our residency and faculty!

We only accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and fill PGY-1 positions through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) only.  Please note that we cannot accept applications sent to us via fax or email!

We welcome applicants from both US and international medical schools each year and we are excited we have both overseas graduates and domestic graduates in our current residency class!  Check out our recent residency graduates from international medical schools.

Interview Season 2024-25
This recruitment season, UMass Chan will be offering virtual-only interviews in alignment with the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC)'s guidance. We will not conduct any in-person evaluations of candidates. Interviews will begin in late October and run until late January. We anticipate offering virtual second looks and in-person second looks for those who would like to visit Worcester after our interviews end for the year. Our second looks are not evaluative and will not impact ranking of applicants in any way, although may serve to help the applicant better distinguish between our three health centers.
