Safe and Sound: Behavioral and Mental Health Services

Trauma Coaches available to support caregivers

All FaCES patients are eligible for our Safe and Sound services. These include mental health and trauma screening, and referral for further evaluation as needed. Our staff is available to work with caregivers to ensure youth in foster care get connected with the most appropriate and convenient community mental health services quickly. For kids who need more in-depth evaluation or immediate counseling, we have on site psychiatry services. Many times the experiences which lead to foster care can impact a child’s behavior and development. We also have Trauma Coaches available who can provide in home training, guidance and support for caregivers.
