Training Opportunities in China

UMass Chan Medical School, through its educational, research and service initiatives, is committed to having a global impact. As a result of this increasingly global outlook, UMass Chan is actively fostering the development of strategic international academic partnerships.

A major focus of this global engagement has been directed towards China, where UMass Chan is establishing mutually beneficial relationships with a number of leading Chinese universities. Memorandum of Understanding have been signed with Tongji University School of Medicine in Shanghai, West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, Peking Union Medical College and Peking University Health Science Center in Beijing. These emerging partnerships provide wonderful opportunities for UMass Chan students to enhance their educational offerings and gain meaningful international experiences. The China Program Office at the Medical School is pleased to announce two program opportunities available to UMass Chan medical students in China: Summer Student Program and Clinical Rotation Program.
