Councils, collaborators, and communities: Building collaboration to share tacit knowledge and improve outcomes

Project Goal:

To promote knowledge sharing and mutual support among NIDILRR disability employment researchers, in the service of improved outcomes.

Outcomes:

• Short-term: increased shared knowledge relevant to conducting NIDILRR research and KT.
• Intermediate: increased effective solutions to critical NIDILRR grantee issues.
• Long-term: More effective cycle of research to practice; improved employment outcomes for PWD.

Objectives & Activities:

• Form Communities of Practice (CoPs) by affinity and interest.
• Organize and sustain virtual meetings.
• Evaluate the CoPs.
