Clinical Trials

The UMass Cancer Center offers the largest selection of advanced clinical trials in Central Massachusetts. These trials, conducted at both at the local and national levels, are designed to evaluate new chemotherapy treatment options, improve surgical procedures for quality and outcomes improvement, and identify novel markers for diagnostic and prognostic predictors of outcome for a variety of cancers. Access to these resources enhances patient care by offering the most advanced diagnosis and treatment options.

Participation in a clinical trial is voluntary. By participating, a patient can gain access to promising new treatments, and help others by contributing to medical research.
