Postdoctoral Training
The Postdoctoral Program in Cancer Biology is a comprehensive program based in the Department of Molecular, Cell and Cancer Biology, but also includes postdocs from other basic science and clinical departments. The program is designed to facilitate interactions among postdocs in different departments, unify postdoctoral training in cancer at UMass Chan Medical School, provide a formal mechanism to facilitate career development in cancer-related jobs, and offer trainees with skills needed to succeed. Postdocs participate in a variety of training activities including seminars, specialized conferences, journal clubs, and an annual Cancer Biology Program retreat. Postdoctoral fellows are supported by the activities of the Center for Biomedical Career Development and the Office for Postdoctoral Scholars (OPS).
