NeuroNexus Institute Outreach
An important function of the NeuroNexus Institute is to increase awareness of neuroscience activities on campus. These activities are generally supported by academic departments and other partners, but with cross-promotion by the NeuroNexus Institute.

Central Massachusetts Brain Bee
The Department of Psychiatry has organized and supported all 16 previous Bees, held at the UMass Chan Medical School through 2020 and remotely in 2021 and 2022. The Bee is a competition among high school students, testing their knowledge of Brain Facts https://www.brainfacts.org/the-brain-facts-book. The NNI has helped organize the Bee for the past 3 years.
