I graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 2022 with a B.S. in Biomolecular Engineering. During this time, I researched localized translation using in-situ cryo-EM. I joined the Li Lab because I was fascinated by their research in advancing mRNA therapeutics. My current project involves studying the mechanism behind EMCV internal ribosome entry site (IRES) translation initiation. Beyond my scientific work, I also have a strong interest in programming and enjoy exploring creative side projects through coding.
