Program Highlights
The program includes a strong clinical component, with two inpatient services and a diverse ambulatory clinic exposure, including 2 to 3 continuity clinics per week. We have a robust didactic curriculum with division conferences and lectures, and several interdepartmental conferences with the Department of Pathology and the Divisions of Neurosurgery and Neuroradiology. Fellows are also actively involved in teaching residents and medical students in both clinical and didactic settings.
All fellows participate in scholarly activity in the form of clinical or basic research and/or abstracts at local and national meetings, as well as scholarly publications. Fellow participation in quality improvement projects, patient safety committees and interdepartmental quality committees is also highly encouraged.
