Welcome to Poster Central – showcasing the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) work being completed by our colleagues and learners across the UMass Chan Medical School community! 

 

S.P.A.R.KIgniting progress and transformation in DEIB practices. 

 

The 2024 Diversity Summit will utilize the S.P.A.R.K framework as its theme, as we are igniting progress and transformation in DEIB practices. 

 

Below are the featured posters of the 2024 Diversity Summit Poster Session. The table highlights the S.P.A.R.K letter designation(s) for each poster to provide viewers with an overview of the primary focus(es)of the work being outlined (i.e. “S” for System Level Change): 

 

1.      System-level Change: Infuse DEIB practices across services, processes, policies and organizational culture. 

2.      Practical Tools: Develop and implement practical DEI tools. 

3.      Address Needs: Amplify and unify the voices of marginalized populations through direct service and advocacy. 

4.      Research: Create and utilize evidence-based DEIB solutions. 

5.      Keep Funding: Keep and increase funding resources for greater financial sustainability.
