AAD Advocacy Program

The Dermatology Residency Program is one of five residency programs in the country chosen to pilot an advocacy curriculum.  Through this program, two residents per year attend the AADA Legislative conference. All residents participate in a three-year curriculum that covers important advocacy topics such as: AAD issues, PACs, state societies, organized medicine like AMA, FDA, payment reform, community involvement and leadership.
