Breakthrough Parenting Curriculum: Navigating Trauma Across Generations
Training of Facilitators
Breakthrough Parenting Curriculum (BPC) Training of Facilitators is designed for parent and non-parent co-facilitators.
Individuals who have lived expertise, professional experience, or both are eligible to serve as facilitators. This series is designed to be cofacilitated by teams of two persons who, in combination, have expertise in both areas, together creating a safe and educational environment.
It equips them to teach the BPC in their communities. BPC assists parents involved with or at risk of involvement with the child welfare system. It offers information on trauma’s impact on parents and children, along with skills, strategies, and a supportive community for healing and growth.
