Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is the most rigorously tested treatment for trauma in children. We offer TF-CBT training and consultation to clinicians and supervisors around the country. Get more details about our TF-CBT training.

We develop practical approaches to implement trauma-informed care for youth in traditional and nontraditional settings. The American Academy of Pediatrics,
The National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN), school districts, courts, early childhood centers and juvenile justice settings and othes implement these trauma-informed practices.
Improves outcomes: Research shows that children who receive evidence-based treatments experience less symptoms and increase protective factors (resiliency), including social connectedness. Caregivers also do better—they experience less depression and stress and increased confidence and competence at the end of treatment.
Increases access to care: A U.S. Government Accountability Office Report to Congress on Child Trauma recently described LINK-KID as a promising practice to address mental health care access issues for children. In Massachusetts alone, we’ve successfully referred more than 5,000 children to quality treatment through LINK-KID.
Improves trauma response: We have trained thousands of professionals in trauma-informed care for youth. Participants report significant increases in knowledge around addressing trauma. These efforts have impacted the lives of millions of children.
Provides evidence-based resources and trainings: We have trained thousands of clinicians and supervisors in TF-CBT. We also provide free psychoeducational materials, resources and support to build resilience in children.
